 Ford Transit 80 SWB Semi High Top
The Ford Transit is still the benchmark for vans. This standard transit is ideal for many tasks such as small deliveries, moving sofas, house clearing, going to the tip, even relocating your children when starting college or university. The Transit 80 van is very economical, averaging 35 miles to the gallon and can carry a payload of 800 kgs.

 Ford Transit 190 LWB High Top
The long wheelbase adds three feet to the length of the std transit, which combined with the high roof gives a lot more space for bulkier / heavier items and is especially useful for collecting kitchen/bedroom furniture and moving house locally. The lwb 190 Transit can carry over 1400 kgs, can accommodate two euro pallets and up to 3m length worktops.

 Ford Transit Luton Box Van
The most common use of a Luton Box van is moving house, the box van has always been associated with self drive removals.
The Ford Luton is a Long Wheelbase Transit with a large box fitted on the back, some of these have hydraulic tail lifts which can be useful when trying to move heavy items such as pianos, freezers and a multitude of household or industrial equipment.
An ideal mover for large fairly heavy loads.

 Mercedes Sprinter 208
In some peoples opinion this is the Rolls Royce of vans, Mercedes have copied a transit and refined it to accommodate the changing needs of the commercial world. The 208 Sprinter is slightly longer and taller than the transit not so big though that you can still carry out small deliveries, moving sofas, house clearing, going to the tip etc without the size of the van becoming restrictive.
The one added attraction of hiring a sprinter is that you will be driving around with the satisfaction of having the wonderful Mercedes badge on the front of the van, its always nice to say I'm driving a Merc!
